During a new interview, Sonja Morgan revealed that she’s happy Bethenny Frankel is no longer part of the Real Housewives of New York City cast. While that might not surprise anyone who keeps up with the show’s storyline, the reason why she’s happy about it just might!

While celebrating the drop of her eponymous collection Sonja Morgan New York with Century 21 alongside some of her RHONY co-stars, Sonja chatted with HollywoodLife. Sonja Morgan Says She’s ‘Happy’ That Bethenny Frankel Left RHONY – Here’s Why!

‘I started the collection to inspire young people that I think have a great future to get where they want to go. Whether it’s to get that job or just to dress the part. Even if it’s just to get into the car and put your hands up like we did at Studio 54 many years ago,’ she shared with the news outlet as her pals showered her with compliments and congratulatory messages for her new collection.

But that was not the only thing she talked about for the site.

She also mentioned that the vibe on RHONY has been very different ever since Bethenny Frankel has left the show.

At the same time, she stressed that she gets why she did it and that ‘I’m happy for her. She made a choice for her daughter, for her boyfriend. I don’t want to speak for her. But she made a choice and I’m happy that she’s done that.’

Back in August, Bethenny told the world that it was ‘time to move on.’

As for Sonja, she joined the cast midway through season three and she’s mentioned before that she actually loves her co-stars a lot, making it clear that she’s had a great experience on the series.
